The Korean pop star, Rain (Bi), is finally being called to court by Click Entertainment for the abrupt cancellation of his Hawaiian concert in June 2007. Surprisingly I feel sorry for the mullet monkey especially since he’s being sued for 4 million dollars. With that type of money he could learn English!
After finally coming out of hiding, the pop star will have to go into another period of drama all over again. His court date is set for November 4th 2008 but it isn’t just him that’s getting pressure from the federal court. JYP Entertainment (who started the Rain sensation) and Star M are also being involved. Too bad JYP and Rain have been fighting the past year over their breakup. I somehow envision JYP throwing Rain under a bus. Rain’s current company on the other hand, J-Tunes have made sure they are not involved at all.
Supposedly they’ll try to postpone it for another couple of months like they have been. Why is beyond me because I don’t remember any one trying to give up on $4 mil especially after suffering a $500,000 loss. Oh well. Things were going slightly better for him as his new album was supposed to be released in November.
Also in addition to this cancellation, he also skipped out on Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles but they have yet to do anything about it.
