Having been around for almost a decade now, Boa has accomplished a lot in her young life. Not only was she discovered by chance at the age of 13, but she is the most well known Asian pop artist of our time. From her training days to her U.S. debut, the young artist continues to excel beyond limitations.

On that note, I’ve made a small timeline of her journey to fame. While it is a short timeline, I expect her to be around for much longer now that she has crossed over to the US.

The KPop diva has released new photos by Markus Klinko and Indrani of her new look for her US debut. To say the least, she’s hot.

It’s very different from her teenage years where she was the innocent Korean Dream Teen but now she’s all grown up shakin’ what her umma gave her. However her new look has sparked controversy as she is a bit too revealing by Korean standards. While it is a little more bootylicious than before, I think we’re past the part where she was still baby Boa. If you recall last year, she was spotted completely wasted on her 21st birthday and soon afterwards she became the Hite spokes model. Also, her clothes aren’t that revealing (or at all).

While some of us may never let go, Boa’s debut is taking a turn for the best as she was recently invited to perform her “Eat You Up” single for Ben Lyon’s (E! Panelist) birthday. Apparently the guy is a fan as he was seen posing with her in various photos.

Good to know the she’s doing better after a bad MV call. Btw, Happy Birthday Boa (22 by Korea calendar)!

Finally, what took her so long? The old kpop diva Boa held a press conference yesterday announcing that she’ll be debuting in America sometime in the next few months. She’ll release her English album on October 7th via iTunes and Myspace while releasing it in stores on November 11th.

While I’m a big fan of Boa, I hope she stepped her English game up because her teaser video for “Eat You Up” (sexual innuendo?) wasn’t that impressive. It’s a disconnected beat mixed with Engrish lyrics and a random chandelier crashing. If the dancing wasn’t as good as it is, all I would see is failure. She’s supposedly taking advance English lessons but so was Rain and Se7en.

Boa is honestly Korea’s last hope for breaking out into the US. She’s probably the only qualified Kpopper around unless Hyori wants to let everyone else in the US know her boobs aren’t fake.

The Korean pop star, Rain (Bi), is finally being called to court by Click Entertainment for the abrupt cancellation of his Hawaiian concert in June 2007. Surprisingly I feel sorry for the mullet monkey especially since he’s being sued for 4 million dollars. With that type of money he could learn English!

I’m a bit disappointed with this week’s round up since most of the songs didn’t really interest me. Also I’m a bit sad that the Olympics finally ended. I didn’t get to catch the closing ceremony but I heard it wasn’t as good as the opening.

Anyways for those of you reading this and unaware, GirlyBubble is having their launch party on Sept. 10th in New York City. If you’re in the area be sure to come as it’s free. MBC star wedding variety show “We Got Married” is one of the most talked about shows in Korea featuring various Kpop stars paired together as if they were husband and wife. One of the more talked about couples is Jewelry’s Seo In Young and Crown J. They’ve debuted earlier this year together and have been active together outside of the show such as collaborations and wedding photos. Well now, they’re going to further that relationship. At first I thought she was crazy but turns out the mushroom head will actually be playing pretend with “We Got Married” honey Crown J.
