Who would have known the two would ever been seen together ever again? MBC’s Gayo Daejun brought together king JYP and baby Rain for an epic dance battle.

If you pay attention to JYP’s solo, you’ll remember the same dance from a previous Youtube video only this time he’s wearing his shirt. Setting aside the lack of free styling, JYP actually pulled off a bad ass performance which is surprising for a man of his age (36).

Unfortunately, Rain couldn’t stand up to JYP (as usual) but nonetheless, the battle is still entertaining.

Japanese broadcasting corporation NHK will be hosting a whole new level of their annual New Years’ Red-White Battle or Kouhaku Uta Gassen. Even though viewership is slipping, they’ve brought in 53 performers (last year was 58) but all performers are supposedly the best of the best in Japan.

Among that list are SMAP, Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki and the most highly publicized of all TVXQ. NHK was also able to grab Mr. Children, a long awaited special performance that has failed in previous years. So far things are looking up.

The variety show is consisted of a boy (white) VS girls (red) battle that lasts throughout the evening until midnight. The last three years have been won by the white team, but with the elite of Japan there, the tables may turn.

Rain recently performed for SBS Water Grand Awards only to be dissed hardcore.

In the middle of his “Rainism” performance, SBS cut off the music to go to a commercial. After some awkwardness, Rain politely bowing and walked off stage. Clouds became uber pissed and threatened to boycott SBS if they didn’t apologize. They just did yesterday (11/13) but blamed everything on technical issues. Yeah okay buddy. They’re hacks enough to film private footage of the Olympics but can’t handle a simple performance?

Despite of their apology, Rain has now turned the tables and cancelled his plans to perform for SBS Inkigayo on November 16. Seems like a game of my balls are bigger than yours. However, I can’t blame Rain. This isn’t the first time SBS has pushed him around: they previously banned his song “You” for being sexually explicit.
